What’s a kid know about GMOs and CAFOs? Plenty.

It’s one thing to hear people like Lynn Henning, the farmer/activist from Michigan, talk about CAFOs and their effect on water and communities. It’s quite another thing to hear an 11-year-old speak with passion about his thoughts on the production of the food we eat. Go to this link to hear what Birke Baehr has to say. It will open your eyes and your mind.  http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/en/birke_baehr_what_s_wrong_with_our_food_system.html

  1. That little kid has more of the “right stuff” than many adults that live around here! Very impressive!

For a very well done primer on CAFOs, I suggest http://WWW.Meatrix.com
Both children and adults will understand the problem rapidly and with clarity!
    Enjoy and learn!
